We’re excited that your student is getting ready to become a Sun Devil this fall. To help you with your travel plans for August, we want to share our exclusive exclusive hotel deals for incoming ASU families — and information about Housing Move-In and ASU Family Welcome Events.
Here’s a quick summary of what to expect in August:
Housing Move-In
Your student will receive their assigned move-in date and time in the Welcome E-Packet that will be emailed to them in early July. But for planning purposes only, we can share the general move-in windows for each campus location:
Downtown Phoenix Campus: Aug. 15-17
Polytechnic Campus: Aug. 17
Tempe Campus: Aug. 17-18
West Valley Campus: Aug. 17-18
Keep in mind that if your student participates in an early-arrival camp or program their move-in window will be adjusted.
ASU Family Hotel Deals
If you need accommodations from Aug. 12 through Aug. 19, check out our special discounts for a wide range of hotels near ASU. Visit the ASU Welcome home page and scroll to the bottom to access these exclusive deals, which are conveniently listed by campus. Many of the hotels are offering additional perks in addition to the ASU Family discount rates.
We recommend you book early to take advantage of these rates. The discount blocks are only available until July 15 at 5 p.m., or until filled.
ASU Family Welcome
We’re also making plans for our ASU Family Welcome events during move-in weekend, Aug. 16-18. These programs are designed for parents and family members to answer questions and celebrate the start of your ASU experience. Register now for these festive in-person programs to be held at each campus location:
Downtown Phoenix Campus: Friday, Aug. 16
Polytechnic Campus: Saturday, Aug. 17
West Valley Campus: Saturday, Aug. 17
Tempe Campus: Sunday, Aug. 18
