Family Connection Live Summer 2024 series

Family Connection Live series are live-hosted, virtual events highlighting ASU services and resources for incoming students. Meet the staff who will support your student while connecting with other incoming families and getting answers to your questions in real time.  Attend any or all of these sessions to learn more about what is available to support your student's success and wellbeing at ASU.  

All times listed are in Arizona time.

ASU Family teams up with experts across campus in these areas so you can get in-depth information topics listed below and ask questions and get real-time answers.

ASU Housing for first-year students - Friday, May 3rd at 8:30 a.m. - The May 15th priority Housing application deadline is fast approaching. Hear from our team at ASU Housing about why living on-campus is so important.  This session is also available on Tuesday, May 14th.

Meal Plans and Dining Options @ ASU - Wednesday, May 22nd at 4:00 p.m. - Learn more about the meal plans available for first-year students and on-campus dining options, with the dining services team, Sun Devil Hospitality.  This session is also available on June 5th.  

Career Exploration - Wednesday, May 29th at 4:00 p.m. - Career Services team will share with you all the resources in place to help your student identify a career path that matches your Sun Devil's interests and skill set.  

Meal Plans and Dining Options @ ASU - Wednesday, June 5th at 4:00 p.m. - Learn more about the meal plans available for first-year students and on-campus dining options with the dining services team, Sun Devil Hospitality. This is a repeated session.  

Financial Aid and Scholarship Services - Thursday, June 6th at 4:00 p.m. - Hear from Financial Aid and Scholarship Services about FAFSA, scholarship programs and other resources in place to help make college more affordable.

Opportunities with Sun Devil Fitness & Wellness - Tuesday, June 11th at 4:00 p.m. - The Sun Devil Fitness and Wellness team will share an overview of the MANY programs they offer students from intramurals, club sports, nutrition, adaptive recreation and so much more in place to help your Sun Devil be their best self.  

TRIO @ ASU - Thursday, June 13th at 4:00 p.m. - TRIO programs are in place to support first-generation students, low-income students, students with disabilities and veterans who are pursuing a degree at ASU.  Join the TRIO team for this session to learn more about these federally funded programs in place to help students succeed inside and outside the classroom at ASU.  

Culture @ ASU - Tuesday, June 18th at 8:30 a.m. - The Council of Coalitions work to ensure ASU is a welcoming, supportive and inclusive community that respects and honors all cultures and identities. Learn about who the eight coalitions are, the work they do and the leadership opportunities they offer students. 

Accessing Disability Accommodations - Wednesday, June 19th at 4:00 p.m. - Learn more about the services and resources in place to ensure students with disabilities can access their education and raise awareness in the campus community.  

Mental Health Support @ ASU - Thursday, June 27th at 8:30 a.m. - Join Counseling Services for a conversation where you can learn about resources in place to support Sun Devils' mental health.
