Dear ASU families:

Please read the following message sent from the University Office of the Provost to ASU students on Friday. It details a new and exciting campaign to get all students vaccinated against COVID-19 and includes a drawing for a $1,000 gift card. Please feel free to share with your student:

Get your COVID-19 vaccine & enter to win a daily drawing for a $1,000 gift card to the Sun Devil Campus stores

Thousands of Sun Devils have already taken the critical step to get vaccinated against COVID-19, and we need all of you to do the same.

Get your vaccine before 5 PM on May 9 and you may enter a daily drawing for a $1,000 gift card to Sun Devil Campus stores. Students who have already been vaccinated and have a record on file with ASU Health Services are eligible and will also need to sign up here. The raffle will run between May 1 and May 9.

The COVID-19 vaccine is not only important for the protection of your own personal health; it is our best chance of ending the pandemic and returning to the experiences we all miss. It is expected that every ASU student who can be vaccinated gets vaccinated against COVID-19.

We have appointments for both the Moderna (2 shots) and Johnson & Johnson (1 shot) COVID-19 vaccines available at all Health Services locations. Please make your appointment through the ASU Patient Portal. These vaccines are provided at no cost to you and are open to any student 18 years and older.

If you were vaccinated off campus or as a student employee at the SDFC please upload a copy of your vaccination record to the patient portal. Having your vaccination record on file in the portal not only keeps it secure but gives you instant access to your vaccination record at any point in time. This may prove critical if vaccines become required for any aspect of daily life and you need to prove your vaccine status. It will also protect your record in case your paper vaccination record is ever lost or damaged.

In addition, any student who has a record in their patient portal of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will be removed from our COVID-19 random testing program. We do recommend that any individuals with COVID-19 symptoms still get tested.

If you have any questions about the COVID-19 vaccine, you can visit this informational page or contact ASU Health Services at 480-965-3349 or immunizations@asu.edu.
