The Student Employment website offers students the ability to search for on and off campus employment opportunities and shares information ranging from the benefits of employment to tips for applying to a position. Working while in college can be a valuable part of your student's education as the skills they obtain fr complement academic performance and communicate to future employers their ability to succeed in a professional setting.
Studies have shown that students who work do just as well or better academically than non-working students and grades improve as students work more hours per week (up to 20). In addition, working students are more likely to complete a degree program than non-workers.
