Sun Devils who are interested in a low commitment experience to expand their career horizons and network with professionals are the perfect fit for the Sun Devil Shadow Program! The program gives students the opportunity to shadow professionals for either a full or half day. Students who participate gain firsthand insights into industries or careers of interest. Job Shadowing is an excellent hands-on learning experience for Sun Devils, as they are able to learn more about specific companies and industries, network with professionals and enjoy an opportunity to enhance their career readiness. Another program that allows Sun Devils to directly connect with employers is the Sun Devil Site Visit Program! The program is open to students across all majors and colleges at ASU. A company site visit allows students to visit an organization’s workplace, learn about the company, meet employees and interns, ask questions, and observe work in progress. Employer site visits are designed to help students explore various careers and work environments, learn about different professions and industries, and interact with alumni all while expanding their professional networks and contacts.
