Now the fall semester is under way, your Sun Devils are invited to participate in one of ASU’s more exciting traditions — joining the Inferno section at Sun Devil Athletics’ home games!
Current ASU students receive admission to all home events as part of their athletics fee. Heading out to home football games and other sporting events with fellow students is a great way to make new friends and join in the Sun Devil spirit and excitement that spreads across campus.
This year, our Sun Devil Football squad will kick off their season on Saturday, Aug. 31, at 7:30 p.m. against the Wyoming Cowboys at Mountain America Stadium — and begin their first season as a member of the Big 12 Conference. The Inferno will be a sea of gold for the first football game as students pack the end zone sections, participating in fun traditions like shaking their keys before each kickoff, chanting for every first down, and celebrating as Sparky does push-ups after touchdowns are scored.
Sun Devils can download tickets for all ASU home athletic events for free through the Game Day App. Sun Devils claim their FREE Inferno tickets by downloading the Sun Devil Game Day app, and then:
- Tap the “more” icon in the bottom right corner; tap "Student Tickets" and "Claim Tickets"
- Enter their official ASU directory email. If it is their first time logging in, they select “Forgot Password” and follow instructions to authenticate their account. Their login email is always their official ASU directory email.
- Once logged in, students click the menu icon in the top left corner and select “Football Tickets,” and download the ticket to the digital wallet on their phone to take to the stadium.
