Sun Devils Clinch Season-Opening Series Victory, Buckeyes on Deck
Sun Devil Baseball's offense was on full display this past weekend as they clinched a season-opening series victory over the defending WCC Regular Season and Tournament Champion Broncos. Over the weekend, ASU scored 38 runs against Santa Clara, the most in a three-game series to open the season since the Sun Devils put up 46 runs in a sweep of Notre Dame at the start of the 2019 season.
The action continues this weekend at Phoenix Municipal Stadium as the Sun Devils take on Ohio State in a four-game series. First pitch against the Buckeyes is set for Thursday at 6:30 p.m., followed by matchups on Friday at 6:30 p.m., Saturday at 1 p.m., and Sunday at 12 p.m.
Sun Devil Softball continues home stand
Sun Devil Softball continues their home stand with the Sun Devil Classic presented by Gila River Resorts and Casinos! Don't miss out on the action! The Sun Devil Classic features 11 games this weekend, Feb. 22-25. The Sun Devils will kick off the classic taking on Texas State this Thursday, Feb. 22 at 5 p.m. The Sun Devils will take the field for six games taking on Texas State, Seton Hall, Ohio State, Utah Valley, Idaho State, and New Mexico State. ASU will also take on UTEP Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Gym Devils make it eight straight over Arizona!
The No. 20 Gym Devils defeated No.17 Arizona last Thursday marking the Devils eighth consecutive dual-meet victory over the team down south! This was the fourth meet in a row with the Gym Devils scoring a 49-plus in each event. Additionally, the vault rotation adds on to their 17-meet streak of scoring a 49 or higher, a program-long streak.

Schultz calls match against No. 21 Stanford
With one bout remaining and the No. 12 Sun Devils trailing No. 21 Stanford,17-12, Heavyweight Cohlton Schultz stepped on the mat and delivered a heroic performance, pinning Peter Ming for six-points to clinch an 18-17 ASU victory.
The Sun Devils are now a perfect 3-0 at Mullett Arena and look to get two more wins there this weekend. They will compete against Lehigh on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m. and Nebraska on Sunday, Feb. 25 at 1 p.m. Get your tickets today!

No. 1/21 Swim & Dive sweeps No. 23/R Arizona
The Sun Devil men and women combined for 23 event wins as both programs picked up big wins against in-state rival No. 23/NR Arizona to complete the regular season.
Attention will now turn to the postseason for the Sun Devils. Women's swim and both dive programs will travel to Federal Way, Washington from Feb. 28 through March 2 for the Pac-12 Championships. The following week, March 6 through March 9, men's swim will compete in Federal Way at the Pac-12 Championships. Read more.
No. 20 Men's Tennis ties highest ranked win in program history
No. 20 Arizona State men's tennis (6-4) battled from behind after losing the doubles point to take four straight singles matches to top No. 13 Michigan (5-6) 4-2 in the team's final match at the ITA National Men's Team Indoor Championship tournament. Freshman Daniel Phillips earned his first career singles win in the team's victory.
Sunday marked the team's second upset of the season after having topped No. 25 FSU during the ITA Kickoff Weekend in January and is tied for the program's largest upset since reinstatement when, coincidentally, the team topped No. 13 Michigan 4-2 on March 15, 2019. The Sun Devils return home to Whiteman Tennis Center to take on Nevada and Grand Canyon University in a doubleheader on Friday, Feb. 23 at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., respectively. Read more.
Women’s Lacrosse off to program best start
After last Thursday’s victory over the Pittsburgh Panthers, the Sun Devil Lacrosse team is off to their best start (3-0) in program history. Coach VanThof and company have been dominating the first half of games, outscoring their opponents 38-12 through the first three games. So far this season, the charge has been led by graduate transfer, Shannon Urey, who leads ASU with 12 goals on the season. Coach VanThof spoke about the team’s early season success, stating “It's a great start [to the season]. We've got to keep it moving and we've got to keep playing as confident as we have in these last three games."
ASU will travel to New York for their first road game of the year against Stony Brook on Friday, Feb. 23 at 9 a.m. at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium. The Sun Devils will be back home on Tuesday, Feb. 27 when they take on Michigan! Be sure to get your tickets now!
