Is your student passionate about health and wellness? Do they want to gain valuable transferable skills while making a positive impact in the community? Encourage them to join the launch of the new ASU Wellness offering - Friendship Conversation Benches!
This exciting new opportunity will allow students to engage in intergenerational dialogue and connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Students will have the chance to share advice, run ideas by others, and engage in meaningful conversations.
As a student volunteer, theywill play a key role in shaping and launching this program - while getting course credit! They will gain valuable skills in program development, implementation, and evaluation, as well as receive training in health promotion and care coordination approaches. They will also learn how to deliver education through an innovative train-the-trainer model and partner with lifelong learners at ASU and in the community.

Requirements:
- 10 hours per week (including trainings, course time, and work)
- Meetings will be virtual and in-person, with some required in-person activities.
- Sophomore-status and above
- Student on the Tempe, Downtown, or West Campuses
