With ASU Move-In and Welcome less than two months away, we’re getting excited to welcome you and your family to campus in August.
As you make your travel plans for move-in and welcome week activities, you’re invited to take advantage of our special hotel discounts designed for you as a Sun Devil family member. Visit our ASU Family discount hotel list to explore the variety of participating hotels located near the four metropolitan Phoenix campuses. Click the links on the hotel list to access the discounts.
Quantities are limited and we expect these special discounts to go fast, so we encourage you to reserve early. Many of the hotel deals are only available until July 13 or until filled.
Students who are living on campus will receive an e-Welcome email in early July containing their Housing room assignments, assigned move-in day and time, and other valuable information. Move-in dates have been scheduled, by campus location, as follows:
Downtown Phoenix: Thursday, Aug. 10-Saturday, Aug. 12
Polytechnic: Saturday, Aug. 12
Tempe: Saturday, Aug. 12-Sunday, Aug. 13
West: Saturday, Aug. 12
In addition, family members of incoming Sun Devils are invited to our ASU Family Welcome programs scheduled throughout move-in weekend. Registration will open in July in the Family Hub. These festive in-person Family Welcome events will vary by campus, as follows:
Downtown Phoenix Campus: Friday, Aug. 11, 3-4 p.m. and 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Polytechnic: Saturday, Aug. 12, 2:30-3:30 p.m.
Tempe: Sunday, Aug. 13, 2-3 p.m., 3:45-4:45 p.m. and 5:30-6:30 p.m.
West: Saturday, Aug. 12, 4:30-5:30 p.m., La Sala Ballroom
Can’t make it to campus for the in-person events? You can join our Virtual ASU Family Welcome and Semester Kickoff on Tuesday, Aug. 22, from 5:30-7 p.m. Arizona time. For our Spanish-speaking families, the Bienvenida virtual a ASU will be held on Thursday, Aug. 24.
