Intern from anywhere!

Intern from anywhere information.

Looking for a flexible and remote internship option to gain experience? Want to be a part of projects that advance U.S. foreign policy?

Join us on Tuesday, April 18 for a virtual information session on the U.S. Department of State’s Virtual Student Federal Service Internship Program and learn about the wide range of experiences you can gain as a virtual intern.

The Virtual Student Federal Service (VSFS) program connects the talents of U.S. citizen college students with the needs of the U.S. Department of State. There are opportunities for all majors, from data visualization to political analysis, media research to translation, and much more. These internships are unpaid but are often eligible for course credit and they offer a number of flexibilities not available with our other internship programs:

  • You can be any year in college from a rising freshman to a Ph.D candidate!
  • There is no minimum GPA required!
  • No security clearance is required!
  • You can do the internship virtually from anywhere!
  • The internship is part-time with a maximum of 10 hours per week!

The information session will take place on Zoom on Tuesday, April 18 at 12 pm PT / 1 pm MT / 2pm CT / 3 pm ET.

Click here to register and get the Zoom link: https://tinyurl.com/vsfsinfo. Information is also in the attached flyer.

We will discuss program details, eligibility, and application tips, and you will hear from current VSFS interns about their experiences in the program!

Hope to see you there!
