Thank you for reaching out to ASU Family via the Family Hub. At ASU we utilize a residential college model that places students next door to classmates that have a shared major or career interests to support their success and enhance their overall experience. To support your son’s success in and out of the classroom, he will be able to join a Polytechnic Residential Community to live alongside fellow students in his college for his first year. If he completes the housing application by the May 15 priority deadline, he will be able to select his room.
Living on Polytechnic’s campus will support your son’s success through living in a supportive, close-knit residential college community of students from his major and others who share his academic interests. Your son can take advantage of opportunities only available to his College on the Polytechnic campus, along with the many experiences and clubs specific to the Polytechnic campus. He will have access to the free intercampus shuttle system (https://cfo.asu.edu/shuttles) to participate in classes and activities at all campus locations. Our students frequently travel between the locations and the shuttles are equipped with Wi-Fi so students can study, work, and even watch TV during transit.
Please let us know if there is any additional information or assistance our team can provide. We look forward to welcoming your family to ASU!
Best,
ASU Family
