Welcome to ASU! For parents and family members with students starting ASU in the Fall 2025 semester we will host 8 live-hosted, Zoom Family Orientation Sessions from May 6 to August 2. During Family Orientation, you will:

• Learn ways to support your student as they transition to ASU
• Engage with staff and get your questions answered
• Connect with your student’s academic college
• Discover opportunities and resources available to ASU families

These sessions are designed specifically for parents and family members. Students are welcome, but are not required to participate. 

Session Dates
(all sessions hosted live on Zoom. For all sessions, Arizona will be on Pacific Standard Time (PST), 3 hours behind Eastern Standard Time (EST). You can confirm the current time in Arizona here.)

Session 1: Tuesday May 6, 3-5 p.m. 
Session 2: Saturday May 17, 9-11 a.m.  (BHC session 11-11:30 a.m. AZ)
Session 3: Wednesday May 28, 3-5 p.m. (BHC session 5-5:30 p.m. AZ)
Session 4: Saturday June 14, 9-11 a.m.
Session 5: Tuesday June 24, 3-5 p.m.  (BHC session 5-5:30 p.m. AZ)
Session 6: Tuesday July 15, 3-5 p.m. 
Session 7: Saturday July 26, 9-11 a.m. (BHC session 11-11:30 a.m. AZ)
Session 8: Saturday August 2, 9-11 a.m.  (BHC session 11-11:30 a.m. AZ)

Barrett, the Honors College Families: On specific dates, Barrett, the Honors College will hold a 30 minute session for families immediately following the main program. BHC families can participate in their main Orientation and Barrett sessions on the same or different days as best fits their schedule. If you are a Barrett family and unable to attend one of the indicated Barrett, the Honors College dates, please register for a date that best fits your schedule and contact asufamily@asu.edu for additional information. All families are welcome to register for the main Orientation program on these dates.
