Fall 2023 Family Orientation

Welcome to ASU! For families with students starting ASU in the Fall 2023 semester we will host 9 live-hosted, Zoom Family Orientation Sessions from March 30 to July 29.  During Family Orientation, you will:

  • Learn ways to support your student as they transition to ASU
  • Engage with staff and get your questions answered
  • Connect with your student’s academic college
  • Discover opportunities and resources available to ASU families

Session Dates
(all sessions hosted live on Zoom)

Session 1: Thursday March 30, 3-5 p.m.
Session 2: Tuesday April 11, 9-11 a.m. BHC session to follow
Session 3: Saturday April 22, 9-11 a.m.
Session 4: Tuesday May 2, 9-11 a.m. BHC session to follow
Session 5: Wednesday May 17, 3-5 p.m. BHC session to follow
Session 6: Friday June 9, 9-11 a.m. (The Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions will not be available at this session.)
Session 7: Saturday June 17, 9-11 a.m. BHC session to follow
Session 8: Wednesday July 19, 3-5 p.m. BHC session to follow
Session 9: Saturday July 29, 9-11 a.m.
*Please note that for all sessions, Arizona will be on Pacific Standard Time (PST), 3 hours behind Eastern Standard Time (EST). You can confirm the current time in Arizona here.

BHC Session: On these dates, Barrett, the Honors College will hold a 30 minute session for families immediately following the main program. Barrett families can participate in their main Orientation and Barrett sessions on the same or different days as best fits their schedule. If you are a Barrett family and unable to attend one of the indicated Barrett, the Honors College dates, please register for a date that best fits your schedule and contact asufamily@asu.edu for additional information. All families are welcome to register for the main Orientation program on these dates.
